Cheyenne + Scott

Last night I got to travel over to Topeka, Indiana to get some engagement pictures of these two lovebirds! I have known Cheyenne since we were in college together and just got to meet Scott for the first time a couple months ago! I couldn’t be more excited for them and their recent engagement! It’s definitely one of my favorite parts of this job to see the process of friends meeting, becoming best friends with, and then getting engaged to their lifelong partners! Especially when they share such a cool friendship like Cheyenne + Scott do. It was so evident throughout the whole shoot that there is such comfort and joy with one another!

We started out the shoot visiting their future venue, Lakeside Occasions! This place is BEAUTIFUL! I actually drove past it at first because it’s such a country home feeling that I didn’t realize it was the venue. When you drive in, you see a huge barn with acres behind it where you’ll find a gazebo overlooking a lake. That gazebo will be the place they say “I do” come October 7th! Only a short 6 months away! So so glad that this family decided to start letting couples get married at their home, because it will make for some amazing memories and pictures for years to come!

After finishing up at Lakeside Occasions, we went over to Shipshewana area where they showed me the cutest little boutiques behind the Blue Gate restaurant. I’ve been to Shipshewana Flee Market so many times throughout the years but somehow missed all the other awesome things to do in that little town! Everything was closed which made for a nice quiet (and empty) town for some sweet shots! I’ll definitely be making my way back there soon though to visit all those great shops!

Can’t wait to see these two all dressed up and ready to promise each other forever in October! Make sure to keep a look out for their next appearance on the blog!
