It’s been a year and a half since I found out I was going to have the privilege of being a part of Alex + Katie’s wedding day photos, and I’ve been looking forward to it ever since!

This past Saturday I got to celebrate my newfound friends on their special day and it couldn’t have been any more perfect!

The whole day had a strong emphasis on family! Most of the bridesmaids were cousins and sisters, and Alex even had two of his sisters stand up with him as groomsmen… or groomswomen maybe? haha Either way it was awesome! I loved seeing how everyone came together with such joy to celebrate these two!

When I got to hang out with Alex + Katie during their engagement session last fall, I instantly fell in love with them! The way they are with each other is just so…. well…. easy! There’s a friendship that runs deep between them and I’ve loved getting to see that over this past year and a half during their engagement! So needless to say this day was incredibly anticipated and filled with so much joy! The way they intentionally stepped away to have moments together and stole kisses even when no one was looking was a testament to how much this day truly meant to them and how it’s so much more about their marriage than just the wedding day! Which was just so beautiful to see!

Venue and Location

The day took place at the gorgeous Ritz Charles Garden Pavilion located in Carmel, Indiana. Their wedding day was an absolute dream! I also had the privilege of meeting her mom, Rhonda, and sister, Jessica, before for the engagement shoot, so it truly was like spending the day as a part of the family! Which is my absolute favorite!
