The whole room fell silent as McCormick’s dad held back tears for his toast. He explained how thankful he was for Luke as he was going to step in to take care of his baby girl for the rest of her life! And with each thing he said, you could feel the love he had for his new son-in-law and how much this day meant to him! The same kind of genuine love and emotion was apparent throughout this whole day, making this couple’s wedding day photos a joy to be a part of! 

Every part of this day held such intention and meaning… between the necklace that draped from McCormick’s bouquet representing her grandma who had just passed away to the letters her + Luke wrote to each other beforehand which left them both in tears. Each moment reminded me why it’s so special to be able to help capture these monumental days in people’s lives!!

I’m pretty sure there was not a single person who attended this day that was without a tissue in hand at some point… and you could find me multiple times trying to hide behind my camera to cover up the fact that I was about to lose it at so many different moments! Blame it on the fact that I’m almost 9 months pregnant or the fact that these days still get to me even after so many!

Venue and Location

This was our first time at the Morris Park Country Club and it quickly became one of our new favorite locations in South Bend, Indiana with the beautiful landscape and the AMAZING staff that makes this day go off without a hitch! So between the venue, the florals from Poppies, all the other dozens of lovely details, this couple’s wedding day photos turned out beautifully. Plus, the sweet couple whose beauty made everything else pale in comparison makes this one of our favorites to date!
