When Vicky, Seth + I first sat down at Starbucks for their consultation, it didn’t take long to realize how intentional this couple is. Every aspect of their day was thought out and meaningful to them, which made taking their wedding day photos that much more special! Not only did they hold this day in such high regard, but when you see them together they do the same with each other! Their friendship is so fun to witness!

When we found out we were pregnant, I knew we would have some tough conversations because our due date was falling right in the middle of the busiest time of wedding season. So, unfortunately, I had to hop on the phone with Vicky + Seth and let them know that I couldn’t be there personally to celebrate with them. But, I let them know that Steph would be able to cover it if that’s something they were up for! I’m excited to say that they decided to have Steph and my friend Brooke cover their big day! And man oh man did these ladies do an amazing job! I was bummed to have to miss out on the celebration, but I couldn’t have imagined leaving Seth + Vicky and their precious day in any better hands!

Venue and Location

The couple’s ceremony was held at Newlife Community Church located in Chicago, Illinois. The party then made its way to the Banquets at The Croatian Center, located in Merrillville, Indiana. When I got the chance to look back over these wedding day photos, it reminded me of our first conversation long ago and how they were anticipating this day being here for so long! If you look through this whole day you’ll soon realize that that anticipation and excitement never wavered. I’m pretty sure they look like the most joyful bride + groom you’ve ever seen!
