Joel + Morgan’s love story span’s across the globe which makes it a force to be reckoned with!

When Joel moved from Nigeria to the states, as a teenager, he came with basketball on his mind. Through a lot of determination and hard work, he received a scholarship to play at Indiana Wesleyan University where he’d meet this beautiful blond girl who caught his eye early on! So now his focus wasn’t just winning on the basketball court, but winning over the heart of Morgan! It didn’t take long though before she became his number one fan!

Getting to know Joel + Morgan throughout this process has been SO.stinking.fun!! These two are such goofballs and I absolutely love the way they are with each other! True friends through and through!! During their engagement session I got to see them in their true element of Morgan cracking up at everything Joel does and Joel swooning over his beautiful woman! So walking into their wedding day, I knew it was gunna be a blast!

Even the rain all throughout couldn’t dampen the fact that it was the most perfect day! We did have to get creative and do the morning portraits at the local funeral home (because it was the best place with a covering outside that I could find haha) but that just goes to show ya how trusting your photographers eye is so important! Because I bet you would look throughout this day and never have even know it was raining the whole time. And I think the tale is true that it’s always a bit of good luck 😉

Morgan + Joel, you both are stunning together! Not just because your total babes but because you radiate joy when you’re around one another! I have had the best time getting to know you both and see your hearts for those you love around you! I’m SO excited that you’re finally able to call each other husband and wife! Thank you so much for allowing me to be a part of this super special time in your lives! Cheers to the start of a lifetime legacy that’s only just begun!

Location and Venue

For Morgan + Joel’s wedding we started off getting ready at the beautiful Spohn ballroom here in Goshen, Indiana. The tall ceilings and charming history make the Spohn so unique and such a great place for a reception venue!

The ceremony was held at my hometown church growing up, Nappanee Missionary Church! This place is so near and dear to my heart! The beautiful architecure of the church provided a great place for photos afterwards underneath the overhangs and away from the rain!

Overall this was such a beautiful day filled with so much joy and excitement! And I’m so SO thankful to have been a part of it all!
