I bet 6^thgrade Emma (who was trying to impress “the cute new boy” during indoor recess) would just be all kinds of giddy to know that someday he becomes her prince charming and they live happily ever after together!

Drew + Emma’s high school sweetheart story is every middle schoolers dream-come-true for all their major crushes! I have to admit, I’m usually a skeptic when it comes to high school relationships, but lately a lot of my couples are proving me WAY wrong! Not only is it the sweetest to witness a relationship that’s experienced so much together, but it’s so awesome to see what kind of friendship forms out of that! I’ve loved getting to know these two over our engagement photos and now the wedding and see how much they genuinely want to be near each other and experience life by each other’s side!

From the moment we got there in the morning, to the final goodbyes, it was all just so joy-filled! Emma was overcome by excitement, peace and just calm the whole time! And I know that’s because she knew (without a shadow of a doubt) that this was the best decision she had ever made to become Drew’s wife! And I’m so thankful that I got to be there to witness it all! 

Emma + Drew, thank you both SO much for allowing me to come in and be a part of your perfect wedding day! I’ve loved getting to hear your love story and be a part of helping capture the love you two share between you! Marriage is such a sweet gift and I’m so very excited for you to finally be able to experience all that it holds together! Congratulations!!

Location and Venue

For Emma + Drew’s wedding we started off getting ready at a beautiful loft in downtown Plymouth, The Upper One Eleven. The modern feel with eclectic decor made for a really fun place to get ready!

The ceremony and reception were held at the amazing Swan Lake Resort in Plymouth, Indiana! This was my first time there and I loved it so much! The gazeabo out back allows for an intimate and elegant feel. Thankfully we had BEAUTIFUL weather so it was a perfect day for an outside ceremony!

We then went into one of the banquet rooms for the reception. It was such a wonderful space for the guests and provided lots of room and a fantastic staff for the event!
