Throughout the shoot I kept telling Colleen that she’d make the perfect Disney princess between her twirly dress, blonde hair and sweet personality! And her and Ken together…. I mean it’s definitely a fairytale romance they have going on! Almost 8 years ago these two met in college and, after a summer break apart, they came together and never looked back!

When I first chatted with Colleen about being a part of her and Ken’s day and heard about Ken’s proposal (that included her favorite spot and fireworks), I knew this is a story I couldn’t wait to tell in front of my camera! So meeting them and seeing their friendship together was the icing on the cake!

Exploring around Cobus Creek Park in Osceola with these two for their engagement session was a blast! Not only did they climb in landscaping and sprint hand in hand, they also rolled up pant legs and waded through the creek with me! My couples are seriously THE BEST! Note to self, dare to be adventurous on your engagement shoot and we’ll make magic happen!!

I can’t wait until next September 5th (exactly one year away from when we did this shoot) to celebrate with them as they become husband and wife!! For now though, I hope you enjoy some pics from one of my favorite engagement sessions yet!!
