After a couple hour coffee shop date with Samantha, I knew I had to be a part of their big day! Learning about her and Josh and how their love story unfolded years ago after meeting at church, it was a story I wanted to be a part of capturing!

I was counting down the days until their engagement session so I could see Sam again and so I could finally meet Josh after hearing so many great things about him! We rescheduled the shoot a couple times due to the pandemic, but it was well worth the wait!

We walked around Sam’s alma mater, the University of Notre Dame, as we chatted about the craziness of life and what it looks like to have to have your wedding plans completely up in the air. I will say the one thing that has been such a blessing throughout this time is seeing couples truly get down to the very reason we celebrate weddings in the first place. Even though there’s been a lot of tough decisions and tears about moving and adjusting things to accommodate for the times, they have each other! And in the end, that’s the whole reason we celebrate in the first place. Because they have each other. And always will!
