For Labor Day weekend this year, Tannan and I traveled about five hours north to Gaylord, Michigan to celebrate Colleen + Ken on their big day! These two lovebirds met at college and apparently those that knew one, always knew the other. Their freshman year they were feeling out their friendship, but right before summer they knew this was more than just that. Once their affection grew for one another, there was no turning back!

Eight years later and Colleen + Ken finally were able to stand in front of their family and friends and commit forever to each other at the beautiful Sojourn Lakeside Resort that’s family owned! It was SUCH a special day to be a part of! The energy was high as you could tell everyone had waited for this day for so long! Even a little rain in the morning and a power outage during hair and makeup couldn’t wipe the smiles off of everyones faces!

Which goes to show you what kind of people they all were! We were instantly welcomed in as friends and left feeling like a part of the family! I could do weekends like that again and again!

So excited for these sweet friends and their start to their happily ever after!
