This wedding was an extra special one because I’ve actually known this bride and groom ever since I’ve known my husband. Lauren is Tannan’s cousin, so this wedding was actually in the family which makes it extra fun for us! And because of that I got to have him along for the day as my second shooter! He’s a good sport at taking all the directions!

Walker and Lauren’s story stems all the way back to their high school days where their first interaction was when he asked her for a piece of gum! Little did they know that would be the start of their forever together 😉 Lots of life, between high school and college graduation, buying a house and starting jobs have made them realize there’s no one else that they rather do this life with!

When they first saw each other for the day they read personal vows to one another which had me tearing up quite a bit. Their love and friendship together is something that will last a lifetime! You could see the joy radiating in them (and all their family and friends) throughout the day to see them finally be able to get married!

We spent the day at the new Chapel Road Retreat in Andrews, Indiana. This was their third wedding ever and I was super impressed by the venue, land, and how beautiful everything came together! We couldn’t have asked for better weather or a more perfect set up!

So excited for these cousins and friends as they venture out on this journey of marriage! They’re going to rock it! Congrats to the newlyweds, Mr. + Mrs. Spahr!
