I’ve been dreaming of getting out on the water with a sweet couple for a session for awhile now. I had already had this passion project in the works when I got an inquiry for an actual engagement session on a sailboat (which I did with Katherine and Ron earlier this summer). So this was actually my second sailboat session with a couple in just a months time.

Needless to say I was very excited to get back out on the water because clearly these shoots are so unique and fun! Although Chicago was a bit of choppier waters which made for quite the adventure for shooting film on a rocking boat, surrounded by water ha! We survived though and I didn’t even get sea sick… which wasn’t actually that far off from happening 😉

Thankful for my beautiful friends, Sarah and Lance, for being willing to come and model for me! And thanks to Chicago Sailboat Charters for being great hosts!!
