Editorial Central Park Engagement Photos in NYC
Chrissi and Ali’s Central Park engagement photos were editorial, romantic, and full of the best city vibes! It was a bustling Saturday, but we had so much fun strolling through Central Park and exploring it’s spaces with these two. While we were there, we also visited The Met, which is right in Central Park along Fifth Avenue. I loved the contrast of the museum followed by the scenic views of Central Park for their engagement session.
Chrissi and Ali are actually getting married in Chicago in May, but while I was in NYC for another engagement session (Mike and Leah’s 620 Loft and Garden & New York Public Library Engagement Photos), we decided to capture their engagement session in this beautiful city as well!
Our first stop for Chrissi and Ali’s Central Park engagement photos was The Met. The Metropolitan Museum of Art offers a stunning, classic setting for a New York City engagement session. The halls showcase beautiful art, sculptures, intricate details, and towering ceilings. It felt timeless and romantic, and even though The Met was busy, the experience still felt intimate.
After The Met, we made our way outdoors to walk through Central Park. Our first stop was Bethesda Fountain, one of the most famous landmarks in the park! It features the Angel of the Waters statue, with a beautiful backdrop of water and greenery. Another iconic location we had to capture was under the arches of the Bethesda Terrace, well known for its intricate architecture and beautiful tiled ceilings!
