The bags were all packed and the umbrella’s were on standby for Saturday’s wedding! We headed down to my husband, Tannan’s, hometown of Huntington, Indiana to celebrate a couple close to our hearts! It’s not everyday that taking wedding day photos overlaps with family events, but when it does, I love it!

Quinton + Hailee are our cousins on Tannan’s side, so the whole day was filled with sweet reunions. Plus, my two guys were able to join in for the party, too!

I always say that one of my very favorite parts of what I do is being able to have the backstage pass to the ins and outs of everything that happens! Steph (my second shooter) and I are with the bride more than the groom is on the day… which is pretty crazy but it ends up being so fun for us to see her and all the emotions throughout her wedding!

Venue and Location

Huntington, Indiana provided a dreamy background for this couple’s wedding day photos. They looked straight out of a fairy tale book in those wide open field and gloomy skies! I loved watching Hailee as she got so excited for their first look (which was SO sweet!! I can’t wait for you to see it) and then as the day went on how her joy only increased with seeing everyone and celebrating alongside of Quinton! They had been waiting for this day for so long and it was such a blast to see them finally be able to enjoy it!

Something that made this day extra special and unique was the fact that they walked into the day already sharing their last name. Quinton + Hailee actually had already gotten married so they could leave together as Quinton got stationed in Virginia for the Navy! So Saturday was a long overdue celebration for these two lovebirds!!
