It all started with a cup of coffee that turned into an innocent crush that led to this day! The day they would FINALLY be able to call each other lifelong best friends and better yet, HUSBAND + WIFE!
Every time Kate had a study session at the local coffee shop, she hoped that Sam (her “coffee shop boyfriend”) would be working that day! All the while, Sam was getting up the nerve to ask her out on a date! That date led to one of the sweetest friendships I’ve been able to witness!
Honestly, being a part of this day was like watching the ending of your favorite romantic film… and one you hoped would never end! One of the things that I absolutely love about taking wedding day photos is being able to be a part of every intimate moment of the day. I mean, we are with the bride and groom more than anyone else on that day! So we see a lot of behind the scenes moments! And when you’re seeing their faces light up whenever each other enters the room, or when he pulls her tighter even when he doesn’t think anyone’s watching. THOSE are the sweetest moments that make this WAY better than anything anyone could write in a script!
Venue and Location
The wedding took place at Sycamore Hills Golf Club located in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Between the long streets lines by trees, brick sidewalks, big windows and beautiful architecture, this location made Sam + Kate’s wedding day downright dreamy! As you look through some of my favorite shots from this amazing day, know that behind all the pretty details (and there were LOTS of them!) is a bride + groom whose love is real, laughter was as contagious, and story is far better than anything you could imagine!
