Fall Arizona Desert Wedding at Blackstone Country Club

Fall Arizona Desert Wedding at Blackstone Country Club

May 28, 2024

Brenna and John’s fall Arizona desert wedding at Blackstone Country Club was such a beautiful celebration. This wedding was set in the desert nestled in the beautifully landscaped golf courses of the country club. It was all outdoors, but in late October we had the most beautiful weather from the beginning of the day until the end as they danced in the courtyard underneath the twinkling lights!

Not only was this a beautiful Arizona desert wedding, but it went so smoothly with coordination done by A Day to Cherish Weddings. They were so wonderful to work with. Come see more from Brenna and John’s wedding below, captured on a mix of digital and film!

Blackstone Country Club is truly such a stunning Arizona desert wedding venue. It offers a Hacienda-style clubhouse, lush green lawns, and surrounded by the Sonoran Desert – truly a perfect Arizona wedding venue.

Brenna and John aren’t originally from Arizona, but they love to travel here. It only made sense for them to get married in one of their favorite places. It was great to see a lot of their family travel to celebrate them! Each got ready separately at the venue, and Brenna had her makeup done by the talented Joey Claeyssen.

Another fun thing about this wedding day was getting to work side by side with my brother and sister-in-law of Reflect Films. They were Brenna and John’s videographers. Check out their first looks captured on video here!

After their first looks, we got portraits outside of Blackstone Country Club. This venue offers many different picturesque backdrops for portraits. From the venue itself, lush green lawns, to the breathtaking backdrops of the Sonoran Desert and cactuses.

After Brenna and John’s portraits, we then got a few with their bridal party and family. Blackstone Country Club made for the perfect backdrop for portraits with its greenery, large wooden doors, and beautiful architecture.

Brenna and John chose the desert ceremony space for their outdoor Blackstone Country Club wedding ceremony. This space offers great views of the Sonoran Desert. The weather was amazing and we had the most beautiful golden backdrop for their ceremony.

One of the most memorable things about Brenna and John’s wedding was all of the speeches and vows. There was so much love that was shared between them and from others towards them during the speeches and vows. It was SO good because of all the sweet words spoken.

After the ceremony we then headed out to get more portraits of the two, this time as the sun was setting. There’s just something so beautiful about Arizona sunsets and desert backdrops, and this venue certainly delivers all of that!

The wedding reception was set in The Courtyard of Blackstone Country Club. The sun set early since we were in the west in the fall, so the reception was when the sun had fully set, but they had strung lights all across the courtyard, so it made for a beautiful evening setting with the candles and lights.

The warm lighting, fireplaces, and water features truly made this space even more romantic. These two had such a wonderful fall Arizona desert wedding at Blackstone Country Club, and it was such an honor to be their Arizona wedding photographer!
