I first met Shaleenah + Lucas when they were in the bridal party for Emily + Cory last year! I was so excited when I heard from them not too long afterwards asking me to join them for their wedding this August!! It’s such a blast getting to be a part of multiple friends weddings and getting to know everyone even more!

I couldn’t wait to finally get together for their engagement session, and after a couple rescheduling of dates because of rain, we finally got what we were wanting… a beautiful sunny day!! We started out in the Botanical Conservatory in Fort Wayne, Indiana. I’ve wanted to take a couple there ever since I walked through it a few months ago and I couldn’t wait to get Shaleenah + Lucas in there!! We not only had warm weather, a ton of sun and beautiful greenery, but we were also surprised to see a butterfly exhibit when we walked in. We DEFINITELY had to take advantage of that! It’s not everyday you get to be surrounded by butterflies for your engagement shoot!

These two will have waited two long years to finally say “I do” and I am so excited to celebrate with them as they do!! Congratulations you guys! The wait is almost over!!
