The day was finally here! Danielle + Ben had done all the planning for this special day and everyone was making their way in from out of town! It was a day they will never forget, and it was such an honor being a part of their wedding day photos!

As Danielle walked towards him by the lake, so he could see her for the first time, emotion came as everything started to sink in! She was his bride and he was her soon to be husband! As Ben turned around, you could see the joy start to overcome him! She looked stunning!

When we started doing some portraits I asked him to hold her tight and whisper in her ear what he was thinking as he saw her for the first time…. and tears began to flow. I don’t know what was said during that time, but one thing’s for sure, she felt so loved in that moment!

Venue and Location

I absolutely loved getting to be a part of each moment of Ben + Danielle’s wedding day at the Sleepy Owl’s Nest located in Syracuse, Indiana! The reason I go crazy about this job I get to do is because of sweet forever moments like these that will be carried on for generations! Someday they can sit down and tell all their grandchildren what their wedding was like and how it all began… but it won’t just be stories… they’ll be able to see her tears on her cheek from when he made her feel like the most beautiful woman in the world, and they’ll know it was real!
