They say that family knows us the best… which only makes sense because they’re the ones that see the best and the worst of who we are! Well, if the love that Kevin + Shannon’s siblings showed to them this weekend is any indication of who these two are “behind the scenes”, then it’s no wonder why everyone loves them! Such love from the whole family makes days like this so special, and makes the wedding day photos that much more enjoyable to be a part of!

Shannon’s three sisters stood up as the matrons of honor for the day and honor her they did! The tears shed at the reception when they gave their combined toast were coupled with exclamations of how much their little sister meant to them (which, paired with the fact that I’m preggo with a little girl, made for some waterworks behind the camera as well haha)! And when Colin (Kevin’s older brother) stood up to share about how Kevin went from being the little brother who would constantly follow him around to his very best friend, the sibling affection and nostalgia only grew! It was such a sweet thing to witness these two new friends be loved on so well by the people closest to them!

If anytime is spent with either Shannon or Kevin, you’ll soon realize that there’s probably not too many that don’t fall in love with them quickly! Their joy is so contagious and was even more so as they experienced the best day of their lives by each others sides!

Venue and Location

They were able to exchange vows in The Basilica of the Sacred Heart on The University of Notre Dame’s campus in Notre Dame, Indiana which was so special since it’s where her parents were married years ago! The party continued as we headed over to St. Joe Farm in Granger, IN where a team of vendors (listed at the bottom of this blog post) made the space magical with the hanging lights and amazing florals!

There were so many parts to this day that I’ll never forget, but one is for certain… the newlyweds, Mr. + Mrs. Roach, make one amazing duo and I cannot wait to watch them do this journey of marriage for 60+ years!! Congrats to the beautiful pair!!
