Even though Rebecca + Mike knew of each other during their undergraduate years, they never connected until after they graduated. It took the online dating app, Coffee Meets Bagel, to help them get to know each other and realize how much they actually had in common. So much so that when Rebecca finally told her mom and dad about the guy she was talking to, her dad instantly recognized Mike’s dad and had known him for years. Needless to say it’s a story that was being woven together for years!

Getting to know these two has been such a blast! For their engagement session we decided to play into the fact that they got engaged at an arboretum and met in the middle at Gabis Arboretum at Purdue Northwest in Valparaiso, IN! It was actually raining the whole way leading up to the moments of our shoot and it ended up being a beautiful night! Thank goodness!

Next May I’ll meet these lovebirds over in Illinois to celebrate them with their family and friends! Can’t wait til then!
