Mr. & Mrs. DeGuchi | A Classic Black Tie Affair at Laurel Hall in Indianapolis
To say this day was a beautiful celebration would be an understatement! I had been looking forward to being a part of Bethany and Grant’s wedding day ever since our FaceTime conversation a year ago! When they told me they were in need of a photographer because the photographer they had booked was pregnant and due now right around their wedding, I felt for them. It’s hard to make a connection to vendors and then have to break that. But I was excited to be able to step in and get to know this amazing pair! Little did we know there’d be so many connections along the way!
I wasn’t suppose to be able to meet Bethany and Grant until the wedding day because they live in Dallas, TX. But when a trip out to see my sister in Dallas was planned, I knew this was the perfect opportunity to grab a coffee! Getting to know my couples before I step into the wedding day is so important to me so it was so nice to have that opportunity!
It doesn’t take long with these two to fall in love with who they are together! And seeing that come to fruition on their wedding day was such a privilege!
We started the day at The Carmichael in downtown Carmel, Indiana where the ladies of Something Blue Stylists got the bridesmaids and Bethany all ready to go with their hair and makeup skills! We then made our way over to Laurel Hall for the full day of celebrations!
Originally the ceremony and reception were suppose to be outside, but with the heat and the noise of the cicadas, plans had to change. Thankfully at Laurel Hall, it doesn’t matter where things are, everything is stunning! The character and history of this venue created such a timeless place for them to make their vows to each other!
I’m so excited for these newfound friends and their beautiful start to this journey of marriage! Hope you enjoy seeing some of my favorites from their big day below!
Thanks so much to all the amazing vendors who made this a wonderful day!
